The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE made its global debut on Wednesday, sharing the spotlight with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Buds FE. Samsung has officially unveiled the device on its website, although the chipset details remain undisclosed. This single storage variant smartphone is set to hit the market later this month, succeeding the Galaxy S21 FE, which was launched in January 2021 and featured an Exynos 2100 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging capabilities.

For those eager to know about the pricing and availability of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, Samsung has announced that it comes with a price tag of $599 (approximately Rs. 49,800). The phone is currently listed on the Samsung Malaysia website, where it is presented with an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option.

The Galaxy S23 FE is available in several attractive color choices, including Cream, Graphite, Mint, and Purple. Additionally, Samsung enthusiasts can exclusively find it in Indigo and Tangerine color variants on the official Samsung website.

As per the US listing for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, the phone is set to become available for purchase starting on October 26.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE boasts a 6.4-inch Dynamic full-HD+ AMOLED 2X display with an impressive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Under the hood, it is equipped with an octa-core SoC, which can clock speeds of up to 2.8GHz. Depending on the region of availability, the phone is reported to be powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2200 chip, as per previous reports.

The camera system on the Galaxy S23 FE features a triple rear setup, including a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel sensor equipped with an ultrawide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. Positioned at the top of the display in a center-aligned hole-punch cutout, there’s a 10-megapixel front camera sensor for taking selfies and making video calls. Notably, this represents a significant reduction from the 32-megapixel front camera found in the previous Galaxy S21 FE model.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE comes with dual nano SIM support and is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that offers rapid charging support at 25W through a USB Type-C port. This fast charging capability is claimed to charge the phone from zero to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. Additionally, the phone features connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3.

In terms of durability, the Galaxy S23 FE boasts an IP68 rating, indicating its resistance to dust and splashes. As for its physical specifications, the handset weighs 209 grams and measures 158mm x 76.5mm x 8.2mm in size.
