Reports Confirm Ravens’ Acquisition of Dalvin Cook for Playoff Run
The Baltimore Ravens are set to bolster their running back roster for the playoffs by signing veteran Dalvin Cook to their practice squad, as reported by multiple sources. Cook, a four-time Pro Bowl running back, is expected to join the Ravens’ practice squad for the postseason, offering a chance for a Super Bowl run with the team.

Having received a salary of $6.8 million from the New York Jets this season, Dalvin Cook now seizes the opportunity to contribute to a playoff contender in Baltimore. The Jets released the seasoned running back earlier this week, freeing him to join a team gearing up for postseason success.
The Ravens, already dealing with the season-ending injury to rookie Keaton Mitchell, previously elevated Melvin Gordon III to the 53-man roster. However, the addition of Cook to the practice squad provides Baltimore with valuable depth and the flexibility to consider him for a potential playoff promotion.
Dalvin Cook has an impressive track record, having rushed for over 1,100 yards in each of the last four seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, solidifying his status as one of the league’s premier running backs. Despite being released by the Vikings in June, Cook found himself in a backup role with the Jets, supporting Breece Hall.
In 15 games this season, Dalvin Cook has accumulated 214 rushing yards and caught 15 passes for 78 yards, though he has yet to find the end zone. The Ravens will now have the next two weeks to evaluate Cook’s contributions before potentially incorporating him into their lineup for the upcoming playoff opener in the divisional round.
