The couple is the proud parents of four children: singer-songwriter Henry Wolfe, aged 43, and actresses Mamie Gummer, aged 40, Grace Gummer, aged 37, and Louisa Jacobson, aged 30. They raised their family in their Connecticut estate located in the serene, historic town of Salisbury.
Furthermore, they enjoy the joy of being grandparents to five grandchildren. Their son Henry has two children with his wife, Tamryn Storm Hawker, while Mamie has two children with her husband, Mehar Sethi.
In recent news, Grace welcomed her first child with her husband, the renowned record producer Mark Ronson. On the other hand, Louisa is recognized for her prominent role in the HBO series “The Gilded Age.”
In addition to their Connecticut farm, the couple once co-owned an expansive Tribeca loft in New York City until they sold it for $15.8 million in January 2020. Subsequently, Streep acquired a $4 million residence in Pasadena, Calif., in July 2020.
Meryl Streep and Gummer were initially introduced by her brother, Harry, in 1978. During that period, the actress was grieving the loss of her former boyfriend and “Deer Hunter” co-star, John Cazale, who had succumbed to lung cancer that same year.
