Starting at $61,795 in its standard GT trim, the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E boasts an EPA-estimated range of 270 miles on a single charge from its 91-kWh battery pack. Powered by two motors in its eAWD system, it delivers an impressive 480 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque, ensuring exhilarating performance.

New for 2024 is the optional Bronze Appearance Package, available for an additional $995 on the GT trim. This package offers 20-inch Bronze-painted aluminum wheels, a distinct patterned grille design with bronze accents, and matching “Mach-E 4X” and “GT” badging, elevating the SUV’s aesthetic appeal.

Enhancing the driving experience further, the updated GT trim now features an upgraded MagneRide damping system, red-painted Brembo front brakes, and performance front seating with a 10-way adjustable driver’s chair. Ordering availability for the 2024 model year will begin in winter, with the Mach-E expected to arrive in showrooms shortly after.

Additionally, Ford is introducing a Performance Update for the Mach-E GT and Rally models, delivering exhilarating acceleration. With the update, these models can sprint to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and cover the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds at 114 mph, thanks to new thermal modeling and control algorithms. Owners of the 2024 GT can download the update over-the-air or opt for it at the time of purchase.

Furthermore, Ford is enhancing charging capabilities for the 2024 Mach-E, allowing for 20 percent faster DC Fast Charging. The Extended Range battery pack can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 36.2 minutes, while the Standard Range pack achieves the same in 32.3 minutes. Moreover, improvements to the rear motor and other enhancements result in extended range estimates, with up to 320 miles for the Premium trim RWD with the Extended Range battery.

Despite achieving decent sales figures in 2023, Ford is scaling down production of the Mach-E due to signs of slipping demand. However, with the introduction of these updates and enhancements, including potential price adjustments, Ford aims to reignite interest and bolster demand for its midsize electric SUV.
