“SpaceX’s Game-Changing Move: Unveiling 23 NEW Starlink Satellites! Find Out What’s Next in the Internet Revolution

On Monday night (Nov. 27), SpaceX expanded its extensive Starlink internet constellation by deploying an additional 23 satellites. A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, carrying the Starlink spacecraft, took off from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 11:20 p.m. EST (0420 GMT on Nov. 28).

Following the launch, the Falcon 9’s first stage executed a vertical landing approximately 8.5 minutes later on the droneship “Just Read the Instructions” stationed in the Atlantic Ocean off the Florida coast. Notably, this marked the 17th successful launch and landing for this specific booster, as reported in the SpaceX mission description.

The 23 Starlink satellites were set to be released from the Falcon 9’s upper stage into low Earth orbit (LEO) approximately 65.5 minutes after liftoff. The Starlink megaconstellation, designed to provide internet services globally, currently comprises over 5,000 operational satellites, according to astrophysicist and satellite tracker Jonathan McDowell.

The expansion of the Starlink network is ongoing, with Space already holding approval to deploy 12,000 Starlink satellites into LEO. Additionally, the company has sought approval for an additional 30,000 satellites, indicating plans for further growth in the future.
