Turin, Nov 14 (IANS): Santiago Gonzalez and Edouard Roger-Vasselin revived their Nitto ATP Finals aspirations on Tuesday, defeating Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni 6-4, 6-4 to level their record to 1-1 in Green Group action.
Although the fourth seeds faced an initial setback against Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, they rebounded impressively against Gonzalez and Molteni. Displaying a strong performance, they delivered eight aces and dominated with a 94% first-serve points success rate (30/32), securing victory in 77 minutes.

Gonzal and Roger-Vasselin, partners for the first time this season, enjoyed a remarkable year, clinching five tour-level titles, including ATP Masters 1000 triumphs in Miami and Paris.
At 40, became the first Mexican to qualify for the year-end event since Jorge Lozano in 1989, while the 39-year-old Roger-Vasselin is making his third appearance at the Nitto ATP Finals. Their last round-robin match on Thursday will be against Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek.
