Laughter echoed through Studio 8H as Ryan Gosling made a triumphant return to “Saturday Night Live.”
Hosting “SNL” for the third time, the “Barbie” Ryan Gosling star delivered an episode packed with cameos, revisits to fan-favorite sketches, and moments of cast members struggling to contain their giggles.

In his opening monologue, Gosling humorously announced his separation from Ken, quipping, “We went too deep.” He hilariously grappled with the aftermath of his “Barbie” role, confessing the difficulty of moving on. Seeking solace post-breakup, he turned to the music of Taylor Swift, launching into a spoof of her song “All Too Well.”
Seated at a piano, Ryan Gosling belted out lyrics like, “I left my rollerblades in that big pink house, but I still got that fur coat and I’ll wear it right now,” embracing his transition from Ken to Ryan.
Joined by his “The Fall Guy” co-star Emily Blunt, Ryan Gosling faced playful criticism for his lingering attachment to Ken. Blunt, reminiscing about her own character, Kitty, from “Oppenheimer,” engaged in a witty duet with Gosling, bidding farewell to their respective roles amid dancers adorned in “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” attire.
Yet, despite the jest, Gosling hinted at a reluctance to bid farewell, comically extinguishing a Ken candle, only for it to defiantly reignite, declaring, “Ken will never die!”
