NYPD investigating police-involved shooting in Brooklyn

NEW YORK — NYPD has confirmed a police-involved shooting Saturday morning in Brooklyn. 

It happened at the intersection of Vendervort Avenue and Cherry Street in Williamsburg.

Shots were fired, but no officers were hurt, according to police. 

Police did not immediately provide other details.
